January 7, 2014: This is a slightly unusual case. When professional criminal Stephen Kitchell appears in a Philadelphia courtroom, he pleads guilty to simple assault and unlawful restraint. Charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, rape, sexual assault, and indecent assault were withdrawn because the prosecution – not the defense – claimed the victim was lying!

The woman was allegedly held from late May until mid-June, which is curious, but we are not told what is her relationship to Kitchell, though according to another report, he was her pimp, and she had tried to have him murdered by a drug dealer!

Alas, he doesn’t learn anything from this, is arrested again in April 2015 facing serious charges including possessing large quantities of illegal drugs which were clearly not for his own use. In August 2016, he was sentenced to a total of 11 years 5 months.
