SNOOP DOGG — rap musician bows to extortion — the first time

January 31, 2003: In Los Angeles, make-up artist Kylie Bell is allegedly drugged by rap musician Snoop Dogg and gang-raped.

This case has all the hallmarks of a shakedown attempt as can be seen from this official document which includes both her allegations and Snoop Dogg’s refutations. Why should we believe him rather than her?

For several reasons. Although she claims to have told her family immediately, she did not report this alleged gang-rape to the police for five months, and then only because she was told by a women’s crisis center (ie a rape crisis center) that she could not get help unless a police report was filed. This is garbage, these organisations work on the mantra of believe the victim, and in this connection we can mention the 1984 case, also from California, of Steve Carney.

Perhaps unwisely, Snoop Dogg decided to buy her silence; even rappers don’t relish all bad publicity.

This article reports the settlement of the civil case, albeit in vague terms.

One thing that should be said of the real victim here, Snoop is one Dogg whose bark is far worse than his bite; he has a long record of philanthropy.

February 9, 2022: Jane Doe (not her real name) sues Snoop Dogg whom she claims raped her in 2013. She is said to be or have been a dancer, model, actress (and HEAD CASE). The suit was filed in California and dismissed voluntarily two months later. Here is one report.

Some cynics might say to be falsely accused of rape once is unfortunate but to be falsely accused twice is careless. It should be pointed out though, yet again, that for male celebrities this comes with the territory. This woman made an historical allegation, something that should always be treated with suspicion. She also went straight to a civil action rather than report to the police, another red flag.

And yet again, rappers are among those people who have bad reputations, whether or not they are deserved, so they are easy targets for any malicious or demented female.

My own view is that if a woman accuses a man of rape or anything, she should not be permitted to hide her identity, that applies doubly and triply for civil actions.
