A Phantom Kidnapping In Windsor, Colorado

November 24, 2013: Katherine Bennett is allegedly kidnapped from a parking lot in Windsor, Colorado, and raped. In August 2014, she is convicted of three felonies resulting from this non-incident. According to a report by 9News, the 21 year old Bennett changed her story several times and destroyed evidence (text messages). “Because of her initial report, a Windsor man was arrested for investigation of serious felonies that caused him to lose his job and damaged his reputation in the community”.

According to a report filed by Associated Press from Greeley, Colorado the following day, on October 24, 2014, Katherine Elizabeth Bennett was sentenced to 35 days for a false report against Dustin Toth. She claimed to have been abducted, drugged and raped.

Not that this is important but a report by Jason Pohl for the on-line Coloradoan said Bennett was sentenced to 32 days in the Weld County Jail, 180 days of electronic home monitoring and five years of supervised probation during a hearing that included an emotional statement from Dustin Toth. She was also said to be pregnant by her fiancé.

This woman is not to be confused with the false accuser named Catherine Bennett in the UK.
