May 26, 2015: Esther Baker is all over the UK media making utterly absurd allegations against politicians and police officers.

Baker was one of a number of fantasists who crawled out of the woodwork during the investigation into the mythical VIP paedophile ring. She claimed to have been sexually abused from the age of six, in woodland. It is difficult to know how much credibility police officers gave any of her claims, but they appear to have investigated them thoroughly, and of course they were totally without merit. Predictably, other women came forward to make similar allegations, showing great courage, no doubt.
By January the following year, Baker had over 2,000 followers on Twitter. I had 29. I consider that an accurate barometer of how much truth is valued compared with lunacy.
She was back in the headlines in January 2018 as can be seen from the screengrab below. Here is what John Hemming, her principal victim, had to say about Baker on his blog.
Finally, in January 2019, a court victory by Mr Hemming left the supporters of this lunatic wishing they had kept their big mouths shut. Sadly, no legal action has ever been taken against Baker herself.
