The Murder Of Luke Harwood

May 2010: Alison Hall accuses Luke Harwood of raping her; this claim is investigated by the police, is found to have no substance, and is withdrawn. What happens next shows what can happen when false rape allegations are repeated to people of a certain mentality.

Two years later, she was living in a shared house at Romford with five others, including her older sister, Emma. They were so housed as homeless people. On May 27, 2012, Luke Harwood moved in, and Hall recognised him. She told Emma, who knew of the false allegation already, and who recruited a posse, which beat him severely, then drove him into the country and beat him to death. After clearing up the crime scene, it was decided to return to the body to make it unrecognisable, apparently by dismembering it. While the others did this, Emma Hall decided to play Little Miss Innocent, and tipped off the police, at which point the others were arrested.

The trial opened at the Central Criminal Court in January 2013 and was concluded on April 17, 2013. Having been morally responsible for the death of Luke Harwood, Alison Hall testified against her sister. There were six defendants – Alison was not one of them. Note she isn’t named in this article. Two of the defendants were cleared of all charges, one was convicted only of two lesser counts, and three – including Emma – were convicted inter alia of murder.

Luke Harwood weighed seven stone.

In May 2015, the sister of Luke Harwood published her story in a glossy magazine; this is a very slightly imperfect scan, for you aesthes. Alison Hall is alluded to as Mary. Note too that her relationship with Emma Hall isn’t mentioned.
