ERICA KINSMAN — Alcohol, Jungle Fever & Regret Sex

December 7, 2012: Florida State University student Erica Kinsman claims to have been raped. Later she points the finger at fellow student and football player Jameis Winston, a black dude on a sports scholarship.

The truth is she had consensual sex with Winston and for whatever reason tried to destroy him. Winston was never charged. Kinsman appeared in the 2015 pseudo-documentary The Hunting Ground along with a number of other airhead rape survivors. In January 2016, it was reported she had settled with Florida State University for $950,000. All poor Monica Lewinsky got was ridicule. This later Orlando Sentinel article by David Whiteley gives some sound advice guaranteed to cause anger on both sides.

By 2017, Winston was a millionaire many times over, and he launched a non-profit called the Dream Forever Foundation. By contrast, the mean-spirited Kinsman managed to screw some money out of Winston by filing a spurious lawsuit.

I did a lot of research on these two after watching promo clips for The Hunting Ground, and the most striking feature of the case was the Kinsman was universally disbelieved by her peers, who obviously knew the truth.
