According to NewsBank, this interesting article from The Big Easy by staff writer Bob Ussery appears on page 03 of the METRO section. Although I was not able to reproduce it in full, all the relevant information from our perspective can be found in the extract below, but here is the salient quote in any case:
“Police spokesman Sgt. Paul J. Accardo said police have noticed an increase in rape complaints, and in some cases detectives have been tied up for weeks investigating complaints that turned out to be nothing more than a dispute between a prostitute and a customer.”
