MICHAEL IRVIN — Thrice Falsely Accused

This is one of the most important pages in this database because it includes two entirely different types of false rape allegation made against one man two decades apart with one in between for good measure.

The first two were the type of false allegation any celebrity, powerful or wealthy man can face. The third shows yet again that in this day and age men should stay well away from drunk women, or drugged up women, even if they are platonic friends or close relatives.

December 29, 1996: Nina Shahravan calls a Dallas TV reporter and tells him she has been raped by two Dallas Cowboys football players. The next day, she goes to the police. Dallas police hold a press conference. The case is given wide publicity before it becomes clear that Erik Williams and Michael Irvin have rock solid alibis. On January 9, 1997, Shahravan formally recants. On September 16, 1997, she is sentenced to 90 days in gaol and fined $1,500 by Dallas judge Dan Wyde after pleading guilty to misdemeanor perjury.

According to her estranged husband, Shahravan had falsely accused both him and a former fiancé of rape before.

July 20, 2007: An unnamed woman tells police in Florida that Michael Irvin got her drunk and took her to his hotel room where she was sexually violated by him and another individual. And this incident happened...July 4/5.

Why do you think she didn’t report it at the time? According to the airheads of the international rape crisis network, it is because she was too traumatised. The real reason is that a purportedly delayed report requires only words. Semen stains, torn clothing, bruising, CCTV footage and actual witnesses can be difficult to explain way for a genuine rapist. And the lack of them can be equally problematic for a faux victim. A report of a purportedly delayed rape requires only a story, and maybe a few tears. And why would a woman lie?

This is the way this one played out.

March 21/2, 2017: The third false allegation against Irvin was in Fort Lauderdale. According to this report, the non-victim was being represented by the odious Gloria Allred. (Click here for the truth about this shyster).

Here is his version. There is no reason to dispute it. The case, such as it was, was discontinued the following July, probably because a rape kit administered to the non-victim came back negative. Why do you think that was? Incidentally, when I found this video on YouTube in the small hours of December 7, 2020, it had been viewed only 391 times since it was uploaded by FOX 4 News – Dallas-Fort Worth on April 5, 2017.

And the ACPO report on this page.

To recap, women do not have the same capacity for imbibing alcohol as men, not that men should get stoned out of their heads either.

What can and often does happen is that a woman can appear to be totally sober and in control, but her short term memory does not transfer into long term memory.

As in the above case, this can lead to a woman recovering fragmented memories days, months, years, or even decades later. These memories are often incomplete, and without extremely strong corroboration, totally unreliable.
