December 7, 2002: Three boys have sex with a girl at the Illinois home of Adrian Missbrenner.
This is another example of teenage boys being only too willing to have sex with teenage girls without thinking things through, and with the teenage girl herein being willing to act like a slut then regretting it soon afterwards.
All five participants attend a party at Missbrenner’s home; he has sex with the girl, as do Burim Bezeri and Christopher Robbins; Sonny Smith videos them.
The jurors view the video, and conclude the girl did consent.
When he addressed the jury, Missbrenner’s attorney put it in a nutshell: “If you say he’s not guilty, that doesn’t mean you approve of what happened.” Robbins is acquitted; Missbrenner and Bezeri are cleared of rape but convicted on minor charges; Smith is convicted of producing child pornography! In August 2007, Missbrenner’s wealthy parents settle a civil case with his accuser, paying her a six figure sum. This one can be filed under several categories but ASKING FOR IT is the most obvious.
