November 4, 1990: In Pennsylvania, Ivan Naumov is accused of raping Mary Maco.

This case was reported by the local press. The introducton to one of those reports appears below.

Yugoslavian national Ivan Naumov was a doctor as well as a mature student studying in the United States. Initially, his accuser was alluded to only as a 26 year old woman but later she was named as New Yorker Mary Katharine Maco.

In November 1991, he stood trial for rape and indecent assault. They had met at an annual ball where they were introduced by mutual friends then did a tour of the city at around 3am before going back to his apartment. To play dominoes, no doubt. He said they had petted but no intercourse had taken place adding she had been drinking heavily all evening and had become a wild woman during the tour of the city.

She appears to have reported the non-rape almost at once and was examined at North Hills Passavant Hospital where no physical evidence of rape was found. Why do you think that was?

A jury of ten men and two women took just over an hour to find him not guilty.

One more time guys, stay away from drunk women, even one who offers it to you on a plate. Here is a reminder why.
