July 12, 2015: Emergency services in Oxford receive a call about a seriously injured woman.
I covered this case in Dark Blue Yonder, my hangout for May 2, 2021. Unsurpisingly, it was picked up by Mail Online but here I am relying on this excellent local press report of April 20, 2021. When I consulted it again on the evening of September 24, 2021, it had received a total of 36 comments, including deletions.
If you don’t recognise the cultural reference, Fatal Attraction is a 1987 film in which a married man has a one-night stand with a woman who makes him wish he hadn’t.
The date given above isn’t the date of any of the false rape allegations, but as you will see from the article, this case played out over a considerable period of time. Anisah Ahmed is said to have discovered in 2014 that her fellow barrister and lover Iqbal Mohammed was a married man, so presumably she had been his bit on the side for some time.
If he looks smug in the photograph, he probably is; at any rate, he didn’t reply to my e-mail.
There are many dedicated false rape cases in this database, but this one must surely be in the top ten because of the nunber of allegations she made, the fake kidnapping, the forged e-mails, and the fact that she roped in some poor sap with the madness of her leg injury. Jenny Zhang also roped in an innocent sap to lie for her when she attempted to frame Victor Zheng, but she never went any further than that, and faced no consequences.
The life sentence handed down to Ahmed is highly unusual, but the four and a half year tariff means she will probably serve less than five years. But, should she ever blot her copybook in a serious way again, she can be recalled to prison to serve out the rest of her term.
The above entry was added September 25, 2021. Ahmed appealed her life sentence but not her conviction, and she won. Here is the transcript, which was added December 16, 2021.
Although her life sentence was reduced to ten years, she could in fact spend more time behind bars on account of the former’s tariff. She was also made the subject of a lifetime restraining order – see paragraph 78.
The findings of fact herein are damning. Not only did she rope in her idiot former boyfriend Mustafa Hussain as a white knight, nearly trashing his life as well, but check out paragraph 26 – she’s done this sort of thing before, not the rape allegation but fake social media accounts.
There is some guff about emotionally unstable personality disorder. A mental disorder isn’t a diagnosis but a description of behaviour.
On November 11, 2024, the on-line Daily Mail reported that Ahmed had been released: “She is under a home detention curfew, which she means she has to wear an electronic tag and is restricted to what times she can leave the house.”
Her victim was quoted thus: “I can’t believe nobody bothered to bloody tell me this before. It’s unbelievable. I've been completely left in the dark.”
His wife appears to have forgiven him.
This is and will very likely remain for all time one of the top ten false rape allegations ever made.
File toxic Anisah under both FEMALE PSYCHOPATH and NONE DARE CALL IT CONSPIRACY.
